About ASYOA
ASYOA, Auto Salvage Yards of America, was created to solve a problem that salvage yard owners have been dealing with for years.
It started in Grafton, New Hampshire, with Lynn Paul and Tom McGinty, owners of McGinty’s Auto Parts.
McGinty’s Auto Parts is a family-owned and operated salvage yard built on over 30 years of combined experience in the auto recycling industry.
Tom brings decades of hands-on industry knowledge. Lynn brings a strong background in accounting and operations. Together, they have built a business focused on quality, transparency, and doing things the right way.
Their yard serves both car owners and mechanics, providing carefully inspected used parts for all makes and models, along with the kind of customer support that comes from real experience.
Through their own work, and through conversations with others in the industry, they saw the same issue again and again.
Selling parts online wasn’t built for salvage yards.
On platforms like eBay, listings come with fees whether the part sells or not. Orders are placed instantly, often without any verification that the part actually fits the buyer’s vehicle.
That creates real risk.
A part might ship out, only to be returned because it doesn’t fit, resulting in double shipping costs. If the issue is caught before shipping, there are still listing fees, potential cancellation fees, payment processing charges, and the cost of relisting.
At the same time, there is no meaningful verification of who is selling the part.
Licensed salvage yards are held to strict environmental and operational standards. Each state inspects and regulates these businesses to ensure EPA compliance.
Online marketplaces do not make that distinction.
Lynn saw a gap that wasn’t being addressed.
Tom confirmed it wasn’t just their yard. Other salvage yard owners were facing the same challenges.
ASYOA was built to solve those problems.
ASYOA is a marketplace built specifically for licensed auto salvage yards.
It brings everything into one place:
- Parts listed by real, licensed businesses
- Buyers searching by vehicle, not guessing
- Orders held until fitment is confirmed
- Direct communication between buyer and yard
This approach helps reduce costly mistakes, builds trust, and supports the businesses that are doing things the right way.
ASYOA is not just another marketplace.
It is a system built by people in the industry, designed to support how salvage yards actually operate and what they need to succeed.
