McGinty’s Auto Parts was established in 2016, and officially opened in May 2017.
Thomas McGinty had worked in and run auto salvage yards for almost 30 years. Lynn Paul had been working in accounting and bookkeeping for the same amount of time. They’d been partners in life for 12 years at that point. Together, they decided to be partners in business too, and thought, let’s open our own yard.
They searched for more than a year for the perfect spot. Lynn has always loved Laconia, NH, and when they looked at a yard in Grafton, NH, only 45 minutes from Laconia, they knew that was the one!
It took almost a year to get it all done, and then move here from Massachusetts, It was a lot of work, but together, and with the help of amazing family and friends, they got it done. They love living out of the city, on their mountain.
McGinty’s Auto Parts takes pride in our customer service and providing quality used auto parts. We’re in a very rural area, so most of our sales are done online. But we have gotten to know many customers nearby also, other salvage yards, and auto repair shops.
Next year we’ll be celebrating 10 years here, with a big celebration for family, friends, and customers, already in the works!
